Walked Kms: 450 / Total Kms: 9100

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

At the gates of Kashmir. Damned. Monkeys eveywhere, the land of the gods. It's cold out there. Beautiful old British georgian houses everywhere. A few photographs of what happened before.

Err.. This is Taj Mahal, and err... This is me. At the same place. Yep. No editing involved.

After that I went to Chandigarh, an entirely custom-made city by the french architect le Corbusier, my idol. One big dream fulfilled.

This could have been a living utopia. And still life is much more breathable here than in all the other places I've been in India.

But here rage made me cry. Where he designed a justice complex open to air, the building facing each other, an open hand in the middle (nothing to hide, justice for the people, by the people), a gigantic court opened to all brilliant ideas and discussions - they put tripwire, the court is a military kept no man's land - the concrete is greyer than ever. The alleys of the city are enormous and free, the houses are perfectly fit for human beings, at damn least !! They made entire quarters dedicated to militia, and FENCES everywhere where there were none ! What the use ?!

FUCK DA POLICE ! AND FREEDOM TO THE PEOPLE !

Sadda Aq, aider aq !

For now I tried the best I could to make this blog unoffensive for everybody but my hate is too strong now.

'Chandigarh police, we care for you'

Like all police, it has to ways to understand it: whether you take at your home the homeless boy in a big city at night - or you hit people during the rose festival with your long sticks because they stood up to the music.

To all the wonderful policemen who helped me during this travel, especially in Turkey: stop serve interests that are not yours nor anybody's. When you put fences around the poor quarters of a city designed to be perfect, it's because poverty grows where ten people live in places, two people should. Because estate corporations make the rental price of Le Corbusier's houses unaffordable to the man in the streets where it was supposed to be the contrary. Stop apply the rule of the rich and start punish the real criminals - think to corruption, in Turkey but especially in India.

Chandigarh was also the place where I met the wonderful...

Club of Loosers !

Dudes we're brothers of the same tribe. Just try to be less possessive, next time.

Heading for Antarctica
  • This is about the dream I've been following since I'm twelve years old. This is about going south, like an arrow cutting through the world. This is about going to Antarctica and going back. This is meant to let you know.
